Rosalia
Rosalia Vila aka Rosalia is an Spanish Pop/Flamenco artist. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has explored the outskirts of both pop and traditional music. Pepe Habichuela Flamenco guitarist of great talent, described her voice saying that it is sweet, with a traditional bite. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success topping Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally receiving the Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami is her third album, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. The album came out in 2022 as a result of an appearance on Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the very first Spanish artist to have performed in a solo performance on the show. Motomami was the sole female ever to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year twice, and also the three Latin Grammy Awards.
