Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a well-known Indian actor, known for her performances in the film Beta Saajan as well as Hum Aapke Hain Kun..! The actress began her career in the early 1980s. The role she played as Anil Kapoor in Tezaab has made her incredibly popular. She next appeared in the movie Dil in which she was on screen alongside Aamir Khan. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she began learning to dance at an early age. Early in her life, as she began acting as a young actor, the majority of films she produced did not succeed. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and went on to be one of the top actresses within the Indian film industry. Following her wedding, she took some time to rest from her acting career until she returned. Recently, she had an integral part in the movie Gulaab Gang which was about the struggle of women living in India. Dixit received fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which she took home eight. The actress was also honoured with the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honour in India. The award was also given to her for her efforts in the social sector.
